Organisation

Local Methodist churches manage their own affairs (including church property) through volunteers called Church Stewards. The Governing Body of each church is called the Church Council, and its members are Managing Trustees of the church.

Groups of churches are linked in Circuits, and support each other by sharing resources of ministers, preaching and property. Groups of Circuits are linked into Districts, and all the Districts are joined in what is known as the Methodist Connexion.

All Saints is part of the Wantage and Abingdon Circuit, along with eight other churches. The Circuit website can be found here. We are located in the Northampton District, whose website can be found here.
