Circuit meeting: Into the Future

The Circuit Leadership Team would like to inform you of a special "Circuit Meeting +" on Saturday 4th March from 9:30am – to 12.00 at All Saints Methodist Church in Abingdon. This meeting is open to everyone, and we hope as many people as possible will come along and join us.

You may be aware that we have already spent a lot of time looking closely at the whole question of the sustainability of this Circuit and planning for the future post 2025  – when it is anticipated we will be reducing from three Methodist presbyters to two. As you can imagine this is a complicated and time-consuming piece of work which encompasses many different aspects of ministry, mission, worship and service across this Circuit, which in turn will have an impact on all our churches.

At this meeting we will be able to explain in more detail our current thinking and more importantly, enable you to engage with us in this on-going process so that together we can grapple with these issues and so define more clearly the way forward. Your help, views and suggestions will be of enormous value as we seek to discern God's plan for us as we look ahead.
